The Officers and Board Members for 2025 -2026 all have been hard at work elevating the POPE CEMETERY onto the next level.
With the help of Chris Rogers, we have executed the setup of:
Email address: newseletter@popecemetery.org
This email address will serve as a way to contact all family members to inform everyone of the next YEARLY MEETING at the Pope Cemetery.
WEBSITE: POPECEMETERY.ORG (under construction now)
This WEBSITE will inform everyone of all of the information that has been gathered by the historians of the Pope Cemetery. Thanks to June Haney’s many years of putting all of this information together, now will be available for everyone to see on the website.
Along with news, important dates for meetings or work days, etc. on a calendar for the Pope Cemetery.
Also, you will be able to add any of your relatives to the Newsletter Sign Up dropdown tab or the Contact Us dropdown tab that have not received the Yearly Meeting Invitation in past years.
Chris has also helped us set up several new ways to accept donations for the cemetery:
Through the banking app ZELLE – you can use this specific email address: donate@popecemery.org to send your donation quickly and securely.
The QR CODE below is also another secure way to send you donations directly to the Pope Cemetery – Wells Fargo bank account. Just go to your camera on your smart phone, capture the QR Code. Once the Zelle App opens, add your bank name and connect. Then it will prompt you on what to do next. Any amount of donation is appreciated!
Of course, checks are accepted – please make your check out to Pope Cemetery. The mailing address is: Sandy Brown, P.O. Box 484, Boyd, TX 76023
All of this progress will enable the Pope Cemetery to grow, inform and continue to be a self sustaining entity!
*BIG NEWS!!! BIG NEWS!!! BIG NEWS!!! BIG NEWS!!**

Wood Inspection Services located in Double Oak, Texas, has been chosen by the board with deep investigation. Stay tuned for the progress on this much needed service.
**June 13, 2026 Saturday, 11:30 a.m.** is our next meeting at the POPE CEMETERY in Boyd.
Please mark your calendar and please tell all of your family members to attend and bring a lunch dish!
